Based on the “Villa Kunterbunt” concept, which has been successfully offered for 2-4 year olds in the Augsburg area since 1994, a concept was developed at the request of many parents that is tailored to the 3-6 year olds and guarantees intensive support for this age group as an alternative to regular kindergarten.
Due to the optimal staffing ratio (ratio of caregivers to children averages 1:5), intensive support for each individual child is possible, whereby the respective age group and the developmental stage of each individual child is specifically addressed.
It goes without saying that the educational objectives of the BEP are fully taken into account.
In small groups, social behavior can also be trained to a special degree.
A science experiment is also carried out every week.
Once a week there is an activity day. On this day, external specialists carry out various projects with the children: in the areas of art, music, sport, handicrafts, science, mathematics, concentration training, excursions, etc.. The individual projects usually extend over a period of 4-6 weeks. At the same time, English lessons are regularly offered on this day.
On the activity day, the children go through the English, project and free play stations in 3 groups in alternating order.
As we have access to all the facilities at the DJK sports center, we have access to high-quality sports facilities.
The children regularly go to the gym for the “movement construction site”.
A mirror wall gives the children the opportunity to monitor their own movements.
We offer additional activities for preschool children: an individual preschool program is offered once a week, as well as the so-called Würzburg Training Program, which contributes to language development.
